Egglescliffe Renovation Group invite you to attend an evening of acoustic blues and rock and roll music at Egglescliffe Parish Hall. This event is being held on Saturday 25th May 2019, to raise funds which will go towards the upgrade and renovation of Egglescliffe Parish Hall.
Memphis Suns are inspired by the Sun recordings of Johnny Cash and early Elvis Presley, the blues of T-Bone Walker and Big Bill Broonzy, through to the contemporary country music of Lyle Lovett and Union Station. Memphis Suns — Richard Young (vocals), Jim Macara and Ceri Payne (guitars) — create a stripped-down acoustic journey that starts with music created over half a century ago in the studios at 706 Union Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee, and prove it’s still very much alive and kicking today!
Tickets for this event cost £10 per person and, in order to keep costs as low as possible, we ask that you bring you own drinks for the evening.
Like previous Memphis Suns events, we expect a high demand for tickets, so please get in early to avoid being disappointed. To reserve tickets for this event please see contact details on the attached poster.
