Egglescliffe Parish Council, with support from Egglescliffe Area Residents’ Association, are to hold an event at The Green, Egglescliffe, to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Stockton and Darlington Railway. This event, which is free to attend, will take place on Sunday 7th September 2025, between 1.00pm and 6.30pm, with a bar, food outlets, stalls and entertainment being available on the day.

St John’s Church, Egglescliffe, will be holding a church service on The Green from 10.00am to 11.00am, which residents and visitors are able to attend.

The attached poster has some of the activities that will be available on the day, but there are many more.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Cash are one of the United Kingdom’s leading Johnny Cash tribute bands, who are currently touring at various venues throughout England, and have kindly agreed to help Egglescliffe and Eaglescliffe Residents’ Association (EARA) to raise funds to support our community.

To achieve this, they will be performing at Egglescliffe Parish Hall, Butts Lane, Egglescliffe, on Saturday 27th September 2025, from 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £12.50 person and, to minimise interruption during their performance, we ask guests to bring their own food and drink.

Tickets will be limited to 80, and will be sold on a first come, first served basis, so we would encourage you to get in early. Cash has previously performed for EARA at Egglescliffe, so I can confirm that this will be an excellent evening for all those who attend the event.
