EARA Food Bank Update

Posted by EARA on November 14, 2025
Posted in: Community Event.

Egglescliffe Area Residents’ Association (EARA) would like to thank everyone, which includes Egglescliffe Parish Hall Association, who made yesterday’s food bank collection such a success. This morning (Friday 14.11.2025), EARA delivered 3 full carloads of food to The Salvation Army at Palmerston Stockton-on-Tees. As with previous donation given, The Salvation Army were extremely grateful and will ensure the food and other products go to those who are most in need.

In addition to thanking EARA committee members and volunteers who worked inside Egglescliffe Parish Hall, I would like to thank councillor Stefan Houghton and Eaglescliffe Trinity Methodist Church, for setting up a similar collection site with volunteers at Witham Avenue. I know, having spoken to councillor Houghton, that a significant amount of food and other products was donated., and for that we thank you!

The above foodbank has been undertaken by EARA for a number of years and is something we plan to continue for many years to come.
