Report it to the Council

Stockton Borough Council rely on residents, businesses and visitors to report issues of rubbish, overgrown vegetation, nuisance and defective equipment in public spaces to them at the earliest opportunity.  They have comprehensive online and telephone reporting systems in place, and will endeavour to respond promptly to your call where action is needed.

It is extremely important that residents do not assume that because there is an issue that affects the local community that someone else will have reported it. Please take the time to report it yourself and, if the matter has previously been reported, your call will reinforce the urgency of the work needed to be carried out to remedy it.

We are very fortunate to live in the Egglescliffe and Eaglescliffe area and we should take pride in the area in which we live. To assist you in being able to report matters to the local authority, we have provided details and links for the problems that most commonly affect our community.

If the issue you wish to contact Stockton Borough Council about is not listed below, please ring their main switchboard on 01642 393939 or contact your ward councillor. The ward councillors for Egglescliffe and Eaglescliffe are:

Councillor Stefan Houghton; and

Councillor Jim Taylor
