New path to Egglescliffe Primary School

Posted by EARA on July 9, 2024
Posted in: Community Event.

Following concerns raised by a resident about the safety of children and parents making their way to, and from, Egglescliffe Primary School, she asked whether it was possible to put in a safer route from outside St John’s Church, across Butts Road, to the school path. EARA, on being approached by the resident, spoke to councillor Stefan Houghton who was very receptive and stated he would raise the issue with Stockton Borough Council.

Councillor Houghton kept EARA abreast with developments surrounding this issue, and we are pleased to note that work has started for the installation of a path that will provide a safer route for parents and children. We would like to thank Stockton Borough Council and councillor Houghton for listening to the concerns raised and for undertaking the work that was requested by a resident.
